Human Resources Director

Overview

This position reports to the CEO and will provide both strategic and tactical HR support to the entire Electriphi team. Key areas of focus for this role include organizational design, compensation and benefits planning, workforce planning and talent acquisition, and employee engagement. The Human Resources Director provides guidance and thought partnership to senior management.

Role & Key Duties

• Own global HR strategy, planning, and execution for the entire employee life-cycle

• Lead all people experience programs including employee engagement, compensation, benefits, learning & development, employee relations, recruiting, people analytics, and employment branding

• Lead org design efforts attending to both present and future business aspirations

• Lead development of a new compensation and benefits structure

• Establish robust performance management process with clear expectations that supports a strong culture of performance

• Ensure that the company’s values, culture, and diversity are reflected in all decisions, programs, and processes as the company scales

• Develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures to further the business objectives with a data-driven and technology-driven approach

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and provide thought partnership and advice on a broad range of HR topics

• Leverage data and analytics to inform a point of view, and create actionable insights in support of strategic people priorities

• Support change management efforts in a global, virtual, complex, and ambiguous environment

• Assists in the development and execution of targeted interventions related to organizational performance, process improvement, learning, leadership, employee development, and high performing teams

• Partner with other support functions and management to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws

• Build a strong HR/ People team to support the organization, and rapid scaling

• Collaborate with Ford HR as required to support strategic initiatives

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5-7 years of HR experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or MBA with a concentration in HR or a related field

• Prior experience with start-ups, especially through acquisition/ integration

• Experience partnering with senior-level executives

• Experience with high-performing projects or teams

• Experience with organizational change initiatives

• Intellectual curiosity and strong creative problem-solving abilities

• Action-oriented with a focus on strategic risk-taking, speed and simplicity

• Experience in using Design Thinking and Agile practices

• Knowledge of employment law, specifically in California
